主要从事持久性有机污染物全球循环研究。通过“源-传输-汇”的整体布局,自2007年起率先创建了第三极持久性有机污染物(POPs)观测网,以适应高海拔山区的观测技术和多尺度模型为突破口,对青藏高原及其毗邻地区POPs的源-汇过程进行了长期观测与模拟,填补了青藏高原地区POPs数据库的空白,系统阐明了南亚POPs排放的时空特征,明确了印度季风驱动下POPs输入青藏高原的过程与范围,揭示了青藏高原高寒生态系统对部分POPs的富集程度与机理。
