简历:

    姚檀栋,中国科学院院士,中国科学院青藏高原研究所研究员,主要研究冰川环境与全球变化。1978年在兰州大学地质地理系自然地理学专业本科毕业,1982年在该校获自然地理学硕士学位,1986年在中国科学院地理研究所获自然地理学博士学位。曾任中国科学院兰州冰川冻土所所长和中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所所长,现任中国科学院青藏高原研究所所长。任国际冰川学会理事、中国青藏高原研究会理事长、中国地理学会常务理事和中国第四纪研究会常务理事。

    他和合作者一起进行了长期研究,获得了青藏高原大气降水氧同位素的变化规律;揭示了青藏高原冰芯中微生物与环境的关系;发现末次间冰期以来青藏高原同两极地区一样,经历了5次大的气候波动旋回;以年分辨率,揭示了过去2000年来青藏高原气候变化的特征;通过大规模野外实地考察、连续定点观测和对航片、遥感、冰川编目等资料的室内分析,发现在现代全球变暖影响下,青藏高原的冰川正发生全面和加速退缩,并对这一地区的水资源产生重要影响。

    姚檀栋以第一和第二作者发表的主要论文300多篇。经检索,姚檀栋与合作者发表的文章有126篇被SCI期刊收录(第一作者24篇),243篇被CSCD收录(第一作者35篇)。已发表的SCI论文被引用1632次(第一作者论文被引559次,其中他引291次)、CSCD论文被引用1974次(第一作者论文被引1132次,其中他引690次)。获中国科学院自然科学一等奖两项(分别排名第一和第三)、甘肃省自然科学一等奖一项(排名第一)、国家自然科学三等奖(排名第三)和四等奖(排名第一)各一项;获基金委杰出青年基金、何梁何利奖、973计划先进个人奖、竺可桢野外工作奖等。
